The Catwalk
The Spring/Summer catwalks were awash with colour and print. Now that we are starting to feel the heat it’s time to find the best way to style this trend to make it work for you.
Colour Block
If you love colour but shy away from print you can go for a bold block colour and accessorise with a statement neckpiece and stack cuffs or bangles to get the look. The dorai Plexus Neckpiece worn with a Plexus Cuff would work perfectly for this look.
Print on Print
If you’re feeling adventurous try layering two different size prints keeping everything else simple, accesorising with more understated jewellery like the Slim Shards ring and two plain small cuffs, one worn on each arm. The shirt and jacket in the board above by the master of print Dries Van Noten is a great example of how to pull it off.
Printed Palette
My favourite brands for print are Peter Pilotto, Dries Van Noten & Alexander Mc Queen, season after season they turn out the coolest, freshest prints. If they are a little out of budget try Zara or new brand Clover Canyon. For this look just pick one striking print then keep whatever else you’re wearing with it within the tones of the print and keep it simple! This way you can still go tribal with your jewellery and not look over the top. The Peter Pilotto skirt above paired with a simple black vest, a Plexus Bangle and Plexus Pendant or Medium Linear Necklace and Long Linear Ring would nail this cool summer look.
